In the tradition of “Doc, it hurts when I do this…”
As you may have noticed - I have moved VerusNova (after 2 years) to another service provider since my previous one was plagued by outages and poor service.
Unfortunately my old wordpress site was 2.0, and this blog is based on 2.3. So I couldn’t use my old template. That isn’t a problem since it was time for a change anyway…but, somehow when I imported all of my old data - I only got the first part of the blog entry. This is a problem I still may be able to resolve — but maybe not — I’m sorry about that…but the show must go on.
I think the problem is there are inherent DB structure changes between 2.0 and 2.3 and so not everything restored properly. I used the service from BlogBackupOnline.com - they had all my entries, but after it loaded this site is what I got.
Anyway - moving is always painful
